Financial Need No Longer an Application Consideration for 2024

Due to extensive delays with the financial aid process this year, we are not including financial need as a consideration for this year’s recipients.

Changes to the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) have resulted in unprecedented delays in students and schools getting necessary aid data. This uncertainty has led to a lot of stress for students and families alike. As a result, for this year only, we’ve decided to simplify our process by eliminating the need for a financial aid package.

  • The applicant does NOT have to be a member of Adirondack Regional FCU to apply.
  • Must be a high school senior accepted to a two or four-year college.
  • Must have a GPA of at least 2.7

Youth Savings Accounts

A youth savings account can help teach the importance of saving money earned from chores, babysitting, or even mowing the lawn at an early age. Why wait until you’re older when you can start saving today for that first car, college, or the latest video game. It’s all about taking the right steps to achieve financial maturity.
