Where is my stimulus check?

Distribution of the second round of COVID-19 relief payments authorized by Congress began on Dec. 30. To check the status of your stimulus payment, visit irs.gov and select “Get My Economic Impact Payment.”

Most people can expect to receive the payment automatically. They are typically deposited directly into your bank account. (Social Security recipients and others who received the first relief payment via Direct Express can expect this payment using the same method.)

If you’re eligible for a stimulus payment, you will receive up to $600 for individuals or $1,200 for married couples filing a joint return, and $600 for qualifying children (16 and under).

If your payment was deposited electronically, the IRS will display the last four digits of the account into which the payment was made. Double-check the account number; a small number of our members reported that their payments were apparently delivered to the wrong account. If you notice an issue, please contact us immediately.

Are You a Small Business Owner?

Also included in the relief bill was $284 billion for small business PPP loans. You may qualify for this funding even if you received money during the first round of loans. Find out if you are eligible today!
