Collecting Gently Used Pet Toys for Upcoming Bark In the Park Fundraiser

You know the routine: You see a toy you think your pet will love, and they turn their snouts up at it. Don’t throw it away—bring it to us. We’ll put it under the swap tent at the upcoming Bark in the Park event, a fundraiser for the Tri-Lakes Humane Society.

Donations can be dropped off in the lobby at our Tupper Lake branch until September 15. Unopened pet food, gently used toys and similar items are welcome.

Bark in the Park will happen Sunday, Sept. 17, at the Tupper Lake Municipal Park. Adirondack Regional FCU is a co-sponsor. Proceeds from the event support the humane society, which is a  non-profit, no-kill shelter, that has been serving the region since 1942. With your ticket to the event ($15 for one person, $20 for two), you’ll have a chance to give these gently used items a second chance.

The event will feature a dog agility course, beer from Raquette River Brewing in Tupper Lake, music from the band Night School, frozen treats for your pups, and more. Purchase tickets here.
