Certificate of Deposit Accounts (CDs)

Do you want to guarantee your interest rate on savings over a longer period of time? If so, then a certificate of deposit is for you! A CD is a type of high interest savings account with a fixed interest rate and a fixed length of time.

Make a Commitment to Saving Money

By opting into a CD account, you are making a commitment to keep your money invested and growing over time. The longer your savings commitment, the more you will earn. And, since we understand that each of our community members has unique financial needs, we offer flexible time periods from 3 months to 5 years and provide one penalty-free withdrawal over the life of the account. At the end of your term, there is no need to make a trip to our branch to renew. We will automatically roll you into another CD unless you choose to redeem your certificate.

Make an appointment, or just pop in, and one of our member service representatives in Plattsburgh, Tupper Lake, or Potsdam can help you determine what term is right for your CD.
