Training Tomorrow’s Leaders
We have no doubt: Tomorrow’s leaders are in our schools right now. But to reach their maximum potential, those leadership skills need to be cultivated.
Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) believes that, too. Since 1958, more than 600,000 high school students have participated in a HOBY leadership program. And this summer, our credit union will sponsor three area students to attend one of the group’s leadership sessions.
High school sophomores from around the country participate in the HOBY program, which cultivates educational development, leadership, and community service. We’ll be paying the tuition for a student from Edwards-Knox Central School in Hermon, Saranac High School, and Tupper Lake High School.
Applications for this summer are closed, but you can nominate someone you know (or yourself) for 2022.
