Forward Forward

Dear Member,

It’s only mid-March—“fool’s spring,” in these parts—but you can definitely see signs that winter is losing its grip. Besides warmer days, a lot of us are suddenly feeling more optimistic. Earlier this week, we re-opened our lobbies, after they were closed for several months because of COVID-19. And starting today, many of you will soon find a new round of stimulus checks direct-deposited into your accounts. You can learn more about that here.

This has been a long road, and all of us at Adirondack Regional FCU are grateful for the support you’ve given us to get this far. As always, if there’s any way we can support you, please reach out to any of us.

NEWS FROM YOUR CREDIT UNION

Lobbies Are Now Open

Thanks to wider availability of the COVID-19 vaccine and decreasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in the communities we serve, we are excited to reopen the lobbies of all three of our branches.

Here's what to expect.

Keep You Passwords to Yourself

Three of our members have recently reported they’ve received emails seeking to verify their password. Remember: Adirondack Regional FCU will never call you for your password, or ask you to send it over email.

Check out these cyber security tips.

Health Savings Accounts Now Available

Business owners: We now allow you to offer health savings accounts (HSAs) to your workers. When you add an HSA to your small business account, each of your employees will receive a debit card pre-loaded with the amount they’ve set aside for medical expenses. Learn more.

BANK SHOTS
MaKayley Miller is one of the newest members of our team in Potsdam, having arrived in August. This Canton native is attached to the region—but she’s hoping to grow far in the financial industry.

I love it here because: For starters, my family—I’m very family-oriented. Second, the beauty of the North Country, whether you’re on a hike or going for a walk. I have an 11-month-old daughter who loves going for walks with me every Sunday, when it’s warm enough. Or you can take a calming boat ride, or go fishing. Even winter is beautiful: I know a lot of people don’t like it, but I think it’s so pretty!

What I like most about Adirondack Regional: Personal relationships are key. Working at a small branch has made it easier to develop relationships with each member. You wouldn’t believe the smiles you can receive just by simply greeting a member by their first name!

The best advice I ever got: “Never make yourself feel like nothing to make some else feel like everything.”

My professional goal is: I’m still fairly young—20 years old. There is ALWAYS room to grow in the financial field, which I’m looking forward to! I am open to advancing my career as much as I can.
