Forward Forward

Dear Member,

You might have noticed the new signs and fresh landscaping outside of your local branch. Well, we went a bit further than that in Plattsburgh and are so pleased to welcome you to our new home at 672 Route 3. The 1,900-square-foot branch features a welcoming lobby, easier access to the drive-thru lane, and other member friendly amenities. Stop in and see for yourself.

June is also the month we salute our graduates. Whether making the jump from kindergarten or to a first career, graduation is a moment of family pride and should be celebrated.

Take time over the holiday weekend, relax and enjoy your family. We're thankful you're a part of ours.

NEWS FROM YOUR CREDIT UNION

We're OPEN in Plattsburgh!

The Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union is now open for business at the site of the former Kneucraft Fine Jewelers. The new branch is double the size of our old location and is more central for easier access for members from throughout the surrounding community. Stop in and say hi.

Supporing the regions' students

This year, Adirondack Regional awarded $6,000 in scholarships to 10 students from Clinton, Franklin and St. Lawrence counties, each of whom has demonstrated academic success, financial need and community or extracurricular involvement. Join us in congratulating them.

Get wet and stay cool.

Let’s face it, last summer just wasn’t the same. We’d like to try and fix that, if even just a little. During the summer of 2021 we’re offering all our members $25 discount admission tickets to Enchanted Forest Water Safari in Old Forge. That’s a savings of nearly $14 off the gate price for adults. Get your tickets.

BANK SHOTS
Typically in this space, we highlight an employee so you can say “hi” next time you run into that person—but in this case, you’ll just get to say “so long,” because Micah Tyo is leaving. (If you do see him around, be sure to ask him about his love of history—especially World War II—and music.)

You’ve been with us since 2007! What has been your favorite part of the job?

My favorite part of the job is seeing all of the dogs that come through the drive-thru and our lobby.

As you move on, what lessons will you hold onto?

The most valuable thing I’ve learned from my time at the credit union is the importance of patience and a positive attitude.

Thanks, Micah, for your 14 years of service. Best of luck!
