Have you had a chance to see our new Plattsburgh branch yet? We opened our new, 1,900-square-foot location at 672 State Route 3 this summer, and now that the finishing touches are complete, we’d love to show it off to you.

Join us on Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 3–5 p.m., to tour the new space and enjoy some light hors d’oeuvres. Your Board of Directors and credit union management team will be there, as well, and we’d love to meet you and respond to any questions, comments or suggestions you may have!

Each of our branches is once again participating in the Castle of Toys drive, which delivers presents to area kids in the holiday season. So many of you have been exceptionally generous in the past. But this year, when so many kids have endured remote school and lives are still far from normal, we need your help more than ever. Can you deliver a gift by Monday, Dec. 13?

It’s a hard time of year to be in need—and rising food prices are making it even harder to have a festive holiday meal. We want to help. If you know a family that could benefit, our Plattsburgh and Potsdam offices are each taking names and addresses. (If you’d rather not share a name, feel free to submit your own, and you can make the delivery.)

It’s been a few months since we’ve had a new staff member to highlight, but this month, we’re welcoming Joyce Barber—our newest teller, who started in our Tupper Lake branch in September. If you see her in the branch or on the road, say hi—that is, if you can keep up with her motorcycle or muscle car!

How did you end up in the Adirondacks? I went to North Country Community College.

What do you like most about the job so far? I enjoy meeting new people.

What’s something people are surprised to learn about you? I like cars, and I’m pretty handy around them!
