Dear Member,

As winter snow (and cold) continues, I hope you've been able to get out and enjoy the north country. Whether skiing, skating, ice fishing or snowmobiling, there is so much to explore.

Unfortunately, winter is also a time when more banking scams start to pop up. Just a reminder: We’ll never call, email or text you looking for personal information, passwords or other information about your Adirondack Regional FCU accounts.

In recent weeks, we’ve had reports of members who report receiving phone calls with Caller ID displaying the phone number of our Tupper Lake branch, as well as a text from a sender inquiring about an electronic transfer.

These messages aren’t legitimate. In fact, if you ever have a question about the validity of one of these messages, give any of our branches a call and we’ll be happy to let you know.

Rates Are On The Rise

All good things come to an end—and the era of historically low interest rates enjoyed by borrowers is also coming to a close. When interest rates go up, the cost of borrowing money increases. Even so, interest rates remain near historic lows and you’ll find our rates are competitive with—and better than—many larger institutions. See our rates.

New: Online Options

We love seeing you in person. But if you can’t get to a branch when we’re open, soon you’ll be able to do even more online. Almost ready to launch is an entirely re-designed online loan application and shortly after that, non-members will be able to open accounts online. Stay tuned.
