Forward Forward

Dear Member,

Over the past year, I think a lot of us have come to realize what’s really important in life. For us at the credit union, professionally, I think that answer has only been reinforced: Our members, and our communities. So when our staff from all three branches participate in our annual Earth Day clean-up activities this week, I think we’ll all be doing it with more than the usual amount of gratitude.

NEWS FROM YOUR CREDIT UNION

It's Home Buying Season

If you’re looking for a new home, you know the market is hot. Get a jump on the competition with a pre-qualification letter. We’ll let you know how big a mortgage you can afford. And with a pre-qualification letter in hand, sellers know that you’ll likely be able to secure financing.
Get pre-qualified today.

Escrow Now Available

Speaking of home loans. Starting this spring, we're offering members the ability to add escrow accounts with all new mortgages. We’ll calculate how much money you need to spend on taxes and insurance, and add the amount to your monthly mortgage bill. And when the bills come due, we’ll take care of the payments. Learn more.

We're Growing in Plattsburgh

We're doubling the size of our Plattsburgh branch by renovating and moving to 672 Route 3 (the former home of Kneucraft Fine Jewelry) by the end of June. You’ll still work with the same great staff—just in a much bigger space, and easier access to the drive-thru window. Check it out.

Work With Us!

We’re sorry to see Ethan Knight leave us in Potsdam—but it opens the door for you (or somebody you know) to work with us! Top requirement: You love working with others and making customers happy. Competitive pay, hours and benefits. And you get to work with a team you already know. Apply for a job.

BANK SHOTS
When you spend your life in the North Country, like Potsdam native Vikie Jones, you learn a few things. Like where the best camping spots are. Some other things are acquired, though—like finding your sea legs. Vikie, who has been at the credit union since 2003, can tell you a little about both.

What has kept you in the North Country your whole life? I love the feel of the North Country. The scenery is beautiful, being able to experience all 4 seasons with different adventures for each, and the joys of being around my family.

What do you like most about working at Adirondack Regional? Working at a small branch enables me to develop relationships with each member and offer a helping hand, whether financially or even if a member just needs someone to talk to.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten? My mom always told me, "Treat others the way you would want to be treated."

Potsdam members have known you a long time. What’s something they may not know? I love to travel and take cruises! I got married on my first cruise and ended up being quarantined to my room due to being seasick. Since then I have been on eight cruises!

It’s almost camping season. [Note to readers: Check out Adirondack Regional’s rates on campers!] What are your favorite places to camp? I have a couple places: Fish Creek, where we bring our boat up through to Upper Saranac, and Weller Mountain, where we ride four-wheelers. Both places are absolutely beautiful!
