Forward Forward

Good decisions start with good information.

And when you’re making your biggest decisions—like buying a car, or a house, or taking out a loan for a business—don’t you want as much information as possible?

That’s why every one of our tellers, loan officers and branch managers is in the midst of training to become a certified financial counselor. Earlier this month, they each attended a Saturday training session to get closer to that goal. (Each of our branches already has at least one counselor.)

For you, that means we can help assess your individual situation and give you the tools to make an informed decision. So you know the financial impact of your choices before you make them.

Paving the Way for Crossroads
Jacob Wright, the CEO of Skyward Hospitality, is working on a big plan to revitalize downtown Tupper Lake: a $12 million hotel and restaurant at the corner of routes 3 and 30.

But Wright, a developer with interests in several other hotels in the region, understands a great idea needs more than money to get off the ground. It also needs local support.

Adirondack Regional FCU is providing both. Read More
Totally Shredding
We asked for your outdated tax returns, old credit card statements and dusty medical records—and you delivered. On Oct. 14, 1,500 pounds of documents were safely destroyed at our first Shred Day at our Tupper Lake branch, where Adirondack Mobile Shredding brought its on-site shredder to destroy documents at no cost to you. Stay tuned for future Shred Days.
Safe & Secure

This year, consumers are expected to drop nearly $210 billion on online purchases, according to Adobe. But don’t use your debit card online. Learn more about online security.
