Dear member,

We love starting a new year with good news, but this year, we start with great news. This month, the Tri-Lakes Humane Society in Saranac Lake received a $12,500 donation from Elan Credit Card, the company that provides credit card services to our credit union members.

When Elan asked us for a local group to support, we suggested the humane society. The non-profit shelter can house up to 34 pets at a time; as a no-kill shelter, it cares for every animal it takes in until they’re adopted. (We’re a co-sponsor of the organization’s annual Bark in the Park event held in Tupper Lake.)

Elan’s Elan Charitable Giving program distributed $375,000 in donations to 30 communities. Since launching in 2022, Elan has given $1.3 million to non-profit groups across the country.

Needless to say, this generosity is incredibly meaningful to our pet loving communities.

Kiwanis Helps 60 Families

Thanks to your generous donations to the Castle of Toys this season, the Tupper Lake Kiwanis Club was able to make the holidays just a bit brighter for 60 local families. It's this genuine sense of community that continues to warm our hearts. Here's to a lot more of that in 2024.
