Forward Forward

Dear member,

You already know why you’re a member of Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union.

The friendly faces on the teller line. The ease of applying for a home or business loan. Our competitive rates. The knowledge that when you bank with us, you’re also supporting growth in the northern New York communities we call home.

That’s exactly the message we’re telling others in a series of new videos we’ve created to explain the ins and outs of banking with us, as well as offer testimonials from satisfied members.

The first four animated how-to videos, each 1 to 2 minutes long, cover topics including:

  • The difference between a credit union and a bank
  • Getting an ATV, camper, boat or RV loan
  • Applying for a mortgage
  • Securing a business loan

Another four videos, feature Adirondack Regional FCU members who share their own experiences with us, as well as community organizations that we’ve supported through the years. Take a look and let us know what you think. And the next time a friend asks why you’re a member, don’t just tell them your story—show them these videos so they can hear from others, too.

In June, we participated in a panel hosted by Adirondack Foundation that convened three non-profits united in this work: Us, the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA) and Adirondack Economic Development Council (AEDC).

Teller Wanted in Tupper Lake
It’s no secret: Our friendly staff are often the first thing members mention when we ask why they love banking with us. And we’re looking for another to join our team in Tupper Lake.

This full-time teller position offers a comprehensive benefit package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan, generous paid time off, professional development and training opportunities, and more. Pay is up to $17 an hour, depending on experience.

We’re looking for somebody who has excellent customer service and communication skills, can juggle multiple tasks at once and has basic computer skills. Previous experience in a financial institution is a plus. You’ll be working with our members every day, answering questions and solving problems.

Sound like a fit, or know somebody who might be interested? Let us know!
Pencils Up!
Parents in the U.S. will spend, on average, $597 per child on back-to-school costs, according to a recent forecast by Deloitte. Adirondack Regional FCU is once again helping area parents ease the cost of that annual rite with our Annual Backpack & School Supply Drive. Please drop off items by August 31. Click here for info and a list of needed items.
Share Certificate Continues
We’ve extended our Share Certificate Special through the end of 2023. Bring funds here from elsewhere and invest in a 12-month certificate earning 3.75% APY*. Some restrictions apply; you must invest money not currently held in an account at the credit union. Learn more about growing your money with us.
Bring Us Your (Slightly) Used Chew Toys
You know the routine: You see a toy you think your pet will love, and they turn their snouts up at it. Don’t throw it away—bring it to us. We’ll put it under the swap tent at the upcoming Bark in the Park event, a fundraiser for the Tri-Lakes Humane Society. Donations will be accepted until September 15. Here's how it works.
Your Membership is an Investment in Our Communities
