As part of this exciting update, members will begin seeing a modernized logo and simplified name, along with a new mobile banking app, updated debit cards featuring Tap to Pay technology, redesigned member statements, and enhanced digital banking capabilities.

By August 21, 2026

New Debit Cards Arrive

Members should receive their new debit card in the mail by August 21, 2026.

Important:

  • Please continue using your current debit card through September 2, 2026
  • For security purposes, your new debit card cannot be activated or used before September 2, 2026
  • Keep your new debit card in a safe place until it is ready for use
  • Beginning September 2, 2026, you can activate your new debit card by calling 1-800-992-3808
  • After activating your new card, please discontinue use of your current debit card
  • Your current debit card will no longer work after September 2, 2026


September 1-2, 2026

Technology Upgrade & Temporary Downtime

To help ensure a smooth upgrade, Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union offices will be closed on September 1 and 2. Business operations will resume on September 3.

As we complete the transition to our upgraded systems, members will experience temporary downtime for certain services, including:

  • Online Banking
  • Mobile Banking
  • Debit Cards
  • Some account transfers and account updates
  • Certain digital banking features

We encourage members to withdraw any cash they may need before September 1.

On or After September 2, 2026

Activate Your New Debit Card

Beginning September 2, 2026, you can activate your new debit card by calling 1-800-992-3808.

After activating your new card:

  • Begin using your new debit card for purchases and transactions
  • Discontinue use of your current debit card
  • Update any recurring payments or subscriptions tied to your previous card, if necessary

Important: Your current debit card will no longer work after September 2, 2026.

September 3, 2026

Welcome to Your New Banking Experience

Our upgraded banking experience officially launches.

Beginning September 3, members will need to:

  • Download the new mobile banking app
  • Log back into online banking

Depending on the services you use, you may also need to:

  • Reconnect Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other digital wallets
  • Re-establish account alerts and notification preferences
  • Review certain automatic payment settings

Most members will only need to complete a few simple steps to begin using the new platform.
