Applying for a Mortgage/Re-Fi
Have you found the home of your dreams?
Or maybe you’re already in a place you love—but are hoping to save some money every month on your home payments.
Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union makes it easy to apply for a mortgage. Or to re-finance the loan you already have.
To start, you can make an appointment with one of our certified mortgage lenders. Or you can start the process online. Just go here: https://adkcreditunion.com/loans. From there, you can choose “mortgages” or “home refinancing.”
Before you do, though, we’re going to need some info about your income, assets, debts, and job. Here’s what you’ll need to pull together. Chances are you won’t have to look hard for most of this.
You’ll verify your income using your last two tax returns and your two most recent pay stubs. If you’re self-employed, you’ll want to have a profit and loss statement.
You’ll also need to gather your two most recent bank statements, as well as statements from any investment accounts you have.
And we’ll run a credit check using your Social Security Number.
That’s enough to get going.
When you submit your application, it stays right here, with a loan officer who will work with you throughout the process. That means whenever you have a question about what’s next, you’ll know just where to go. That person will also make a decision on your loan.
And while a lot of big mortgage companies turn around and sell your loan as soon as you sign the paperwork, that will never happen with Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union. Your mortgage will stay with us until the day you’ve paid it off. So if anything ever comes up, you won’t have to talk to a call center hundreds, or thousands, of miles away.
You can just give us a call. Or stop by our branches in Potsdam, Plattsburgh or Tupper Lake.
We’re already your neighbors. Talk to us today to learn how we can do even more!
Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union is an Equal Housing Lender, federally insured by NCUA.
