What is a New Beginnings Checking Account?
Sometimes referred to as second-chance checking accounts or checking accounts for bad credit, these accounts are specifically designed to help our community members with a history of bounced checks, unpaid fees, or account closures improve their banking history and become eligible for a free personal checking account. At Adirondack Regional Federal Credit Union, we don’t let your past banking determine your financial future. We are here to help you get the assistance you need.
How Does Free Second-Chance Checking Work?
These checking accounts work just like personal checking accounts but they monitor your overdraft activity differently. Achieve just 5 or fewer overdrafts in a 12-month period and you’ll be eligible to upgrade to a free personal checking account.
Bad Credit is Not the End of the Road
